JEFF ZISSELMAN SHARES NU SKIN AWARD
2012 GOLDEN BRIDGE BUSINESS AND INNOVATION AWARDS
Nu Skin’s ageLOC® product line receives high honors for best new product
SAN FRANICSO, CA – Oct. 16, 2012—Jeff Zisselman proudly announces that Nu Skin Enterprises chief scientific officer, Joseph Chang, Phd., was named ‘Most Innovative Person of the Year’ at the 2012 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards gala and dinner in San Francisco. The annual Golden Bridge Awards program encompasses the world’s best in organizational performances, products and services, innovations, executives and management teams.
Zisselman has been building a global business with Nu Skin Enterprises since July of 2012. He recently returned from a tour of Vietnam where he was promoting the innovative Nu Skin products as well as introducing the Nu Skin business opportunity to the Vietnamese people.
“This award is particularly rewarding because one of the main things that differentiates Nu Skin is a commitment to continually innovating throughout business – particularly the product lines,” said Zisselman.
Truman Hunt, CEO of Nu Skin Enterprises stated that “It’s an honor for Nu Skin and Dr. Chang to receive such prestigious accolades and to be recognized among leaders in our category. We’re pleased to have a true innovator in Joe Chang. Joe has led a talented team in conducting breakthrough scientific research and developing a steady stream of anti-aging products that provide meaningful consumer benefits.”
Nu Skin’s flagship ageLOC product line was also honored in the ‘Best New Products and Services’ in the lifestyle, beauty and fashion category. The line was recognized with Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson in the category and received a bronze award.
Zisselman noted that his reason for joining Nu Skin initially as the partnership that Nu Skin had with LifeGen Technologies. LifeGen Technologies is a genomics company that focuses on gene expression profiling as it relates to the aging process. “The mission of LifeGen really resonated with me personally. LifeGen’s mission is “to discover the genetic basis of the aging process with the goal of increasing the healthy life span of humans and animals.” As people live longer the goal is also to support them in living healthier. What the partnership and eventual purchase of LifeGen by Nu Skin provides is a huge barrier of entry for potential competitors and gives Nu Skin an opportunity to develop innovative and important products for supporting people in healthy aging.
