It is a universal truth that gratitude improves the quality of people’s lives and in fact probably improves the length of people’s lives. It is Thanksgiving time in the US and living in Vietnam I am reminded to be thankful for what I have and the opportunities I have been given in my life. My beautiful, loving wife, the education and guidance my parents offered, the adventures I have been introduced to and the people I have had the chance to encounter. Nu Skin and my business has also offered me gifts beyond measure. The friends my wife and I have made and the travel we have been able to do is more than I could ever have hoped for. On this Thanksgiving time during Chanaukkah, I am in fact very grateful.
My wife taught me early on in our relationship that sharing 10 things we were grateful each night before we went to sleep would improve our lives. I resisted this practice at first but now know that it is a great way to stay focused on the positive. And for that I am grateful.
“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues”
